Love Triangle?

JJ Abrams, the creator of Alias, has said that he probably won't make a love triangle in Alias - yet one seems to be forming.

UPDATE: Due to major plot changes in Season 2 of Alias, this page is out of date. First of all, Sydney and Vaughn got in a serious relationship. However, it is now suddenly two years later and Vaughn is wearing a ring. What this means for the love triangle we will have to wait and see.

What is a love triangle?

Well, here is a diagram that we will use to explain it:



Sydney, at the top, loves both Vaughn and Will, and they both love her. This is called a love triangle.

JJ Abrams did this on his earlier show, Felicity, too.

One is forming?

It seems so. A lot of people are S/V shippers (they would like Sydney and Vaughn to get together). Many of those don't want it happening right away because it would be too early (I'm one of these people). One way to delay a Sydney & Vaughn relationship would be to have Sydney and Will have a relationship for a while - which is now more possible Will knowing the truth about SD-6.

I think JJ formed a love triangle too and i really want syd and vaughn 2gether. i mean syd and vaughn make the best couple eva! omg! i cannot wait till they hook up and i know they will bcuz..... well they are just meant to be! remember wut vaughn said to syd about his dads watch? that just melted my heart!

Syd/Vaughn!! If JJ wants to make a love triangle y put Will in it. I mean it's no competition. JJ has built up Vaughn's character so you will like him more than Will's. :redhair:

It doesn't seem right to me to have Will & Francie together.

I'm a total s/v shipper, but I think it will be interesting to see how the Sark thing progresses. It'll make life more fun (and complicated!)

I personally like Will, if Syd and Vaughn get together well bye bye Alias, because the tension between all the charactors would be gone. Not Good!
