Why was the forum renamed?
Actually, refocused is probably a better word for it. AllAlias was a very popular, very busy site - it had a great run. Unfortunately, when the show went off the air the participation gradually fell off, eventually reaching a point where we either had to close the board down or find a way to revitalize it. Rather than waste the vast amount of content contained here, and the members who created it, we decided to make AllAlias a subset of a new site with a broader perspective. This way, the Alias community, and its resources remain intact for those who wish to explore and expand upon it, and there are ample opportunites to participate in discussions about other TV shows elsewhere on the boards.

Discussions.tv is the domain of the new site - this is where your at right now.
But I entered allalias.com into my browser - how did I get here?
We've set up a redirect - all traffic to allalias.com is rerouted here automatically.
How come the forums look different than before?
We've upgraded the board to the latest version of IPB (Invision Power Board), which has a slew of new features and capabilities.
Who is "The Sandman"?
That's me.
I'm the owner of the Admin Zone, a forum for administrators of online communities. When Charlie posted on my site looking for suggestions on how to revitalize AllAlias, I contacted him regarding the TV Discussions project. So what happened to Charlie?
Charlie's still around, although he's currently incommunicado.
So what's been changed so far?
Well, as I already mentioned we've moved the site to its new domain and upgraded the software. We've also migrated to the Admin Zone server, which is quite a bit stouter than the previous server AllAlias ran on. So, you might notice an improvement when browsing the board.
We've also added a large section for the TV Discussions section of the forums. What's next on the agenda?
A new logo, a further cleaning up of the forum index, and some customization of the forum's skin are next up.
Hey, I used to be on staff here - now I'm not. What happened?
As part of our general housekeeping, inactive staff members have been deactivated. In the event of renewed activity we'd be glad to have you back!
What can I do to help TV Discussions?
The best thing you can do for TV Discussions right now is to participate - visit the board often and get posting! We'd love to see the site regain the activity it had in its glory days.
Beyond that, we'd love to get your feedback - comments, complaints, and suggestions are all welcomed.
