Carl Lumbly is on tonight's Grey's Anatomy rerun about a group kidney donors and recipients who are donating and receiving kidneys from living strangers. Each donor does so in order for their loved one can get a matching kidney from stranger who also has a loved one in need of a kidney. Each has to agree to the plan or else no one gets a kidney.

Carl is playing a father who needs a kidney from an estranged son who is only donating to get $10,000.
